On Dec 4th at 10:00 AM, residents of Toronto were invited to leave a non-perishable food item on their doorstep. Volunteers will collect these donations and redistribute them to people in need in the community.
These unique times we have been going through in this pandemic are the most difficult that many of us have ever faced. Now is the time to find the hero in each of us and protect our community’s most vulnerable people.
Toronto Miracle is a grassroots initiative, run completely on volunteer power. From getting the word out to picking up the food – this initiative can’t happen without the support of YOU – the Toronto community. The more people who get involved, the more we will be able to support our neighbours in need.
Toronto Miracle was started in 2020 by community members who were concerned about the impact COVID-19 was having on our city. Inspired by similar events held in Chatham-Kent, Windsor-Essex, Northwest Territories, and Montreal, we launched the Toronto Miracle in an effort to bring together the community to fight food insecurity. This is a community-led project run completely on volunteer power.
